Mummy Carrot Dogs
A delicious plant-based alternative to "pigs in a blanket", using roasted baby carrots!

pre-made pizza dough or crescent roll dough
Roast baby carrots tossed in olive oil for 30 minutes at 350 degrees F, flipping once.
Roll pre-made pizza dough into long thin strings.
Let carrots cool slightly then wrap with pizza dough securing the ends by pinching dough together.
Bake at 400 for 10 minutes.
Use a toothpick to make "eyes" with mustard.
Serve with mustard and ketchup.
*Can use vegan hot dogs instead, but we like carrots to avoid any added sodium for our little monsters. If you use vegan hot dogs, follow the cooking instructions on the packaging for best results. 🙂
