We’ve always got leftover grains in my house— so I decided to make a breakfast bowl with leftover rice! It's hearty and filling, and can work with any leftover cooked grain.

Ingredients
3/4cupcooked rice
1/3cupfortified soy milk
a generous dashof cinnamon
chopped apples
sliced bananas
hemp seeds
chia seeds
peanut butter
honey
Instructions
Warm leftover rice with cinnamon and milk.
3/4 cup cooked rice, a generous dash of cinnamon, 1/3 cup fortified soy milk
Top as you like! I added chopped apple, banana slices, hemp seeds, and chia seeds along with a drizzle of peanut butter and local honey.
Notes
Try making a peaches and cream version by adding canned coconut milk, a little maple syrup, soy milk, cooked peaches, and cinnamon!
Berries are also a great topping to use.
Experiment with different grains. We think quinoa or farro would be super yummy.
