“Why does this ‘simple’ recipe have 30 ingredients?!”
“I don’t want to dirty seven dishes just to make dinner.”
…this cookbook is for you!

Kid-tested. These are recipes our family actually loves (even the picky ones!)
Modifiable and customizable
Easy! You don’t need a culinary degree to execute these simple recipes.
No More Separate Meals. No More “What Am I Going to Make” Anxiety. Recipes Your Whole Family Will Love
Even if you’re struggling with picky eating, you’ll find recipes here that will work for you. These recipes focus on variety, nutrition, and customization– with serving instructions and ingredient swaps to fit your family’s needs.
Starting solids? We got you there too. The recipes offer feeding suggestions and modifications to make them safe and age-appropriate for infants and young toddlers.
As a bonus, you’ll get our 6-Week Meal Plan
We took the recipes in our Easy Dinners for Busy Parents and created a 6-Week Meal Plan including 21 bonus recipes and grocery lists to help you nail the planning process.
Our meal plan is a highly flexible, customizable guide that will help you not only work your way through the recipes in this book and figure out new dinnertime solutions for your family, but also provide you with a foundation for meal planning going forward.
Meet the Moms who created the cookbook.
We’re Whitney and Alex, founders of the Plant-Based Juniors (PBJs) community and we are so glad you’re here. We’re Registered Dietitian Nutritionists, Certified Personal Trainers and parents to PBJs ourselves.
We’ve developed thousands of plant-based recipes over the past decade, written cookbooks and ebooks, and helped countless plant-based families raise their kids on nutritionally-balanced diets.
We started PBJs as a resource for families — like us — who want to raise their kids in a predominantly plant-based way and feel confident about the many decisions that come with nourishing children.
Plant-Based Juniors welcomes all forms of plant-based eating, because we know that good health is not all or nothing. We support parents in the dietary pattern they feel works best for their family — whether that’s vegan, vegetarian, reducetarian, or whatever.
