Summer is here to stay, and we think that also means homemade popsicles should be in your plant-based snack rotation.

We love homemade popsicles because not only are they cool and refreshing for a hot afternoon, but they’re also super easy to make.

This recipe only needs 3 ingredients, which you might already have in your freezer and pantry!

It also doesn’t call for added sugar, making this naturally sweet popsicle recipe great for young kids and adults alike.

How to make them

First, blend together fresh strawberries (or thaw some from frozen), lemon juice, and water (or canned coconut milk for a creamier version) in a high speed blender or food processor. Combine these ingredients until they’re nice and smooth.

Once blended, pour your popsicle mixture evenly into popsicle molds.

(Need a recommendation? Check out our favorite popsicle molds for babies and toddlers from Amazon here.)

Place your filled popsicle molds in the freezer and let them sit overnight to solidify.

Once they’re ready, enjoy!

You could also experiment by using other nutritious fruits in this recipe, like blueberries, mango, pineapple, or blackberries.
