Our Favorite Plant-Based Products at ALDI

Favorite plant-based products at ALDI! Curious about ALDI produce or wondering what vegan snacks at ALDI look like? We’ve got you covered.

Grab your quarters, we’re headed to ALDI!

We love stores like ALDI for their variety as well as their lower-priced staple foods, especially while the cost of living increases.

And it turns out that they also have an awesome selection of plant-based foods, so we can get pretty much everything we need in one place.

Here’s a list to get you started!

Best Vegan Foods at ALDI

1. Peanut butter

Grab a big old jar of peanut butter to have on hand for snacks and sandwiches. ALDI also has almond butter, and a variety of raw nuts (like cashews and walnuts) if you want to make your own butter at home.

2. Tofu

ALDI always has tofu, which is one of the most simple, nutrient-dense, and affordable plant proteins around. You can expect to pay less than $2 per package. We like using their tofu to make roasted pizza tofu cubes for snacking, crumbling into tofu scrambles, cooking in stir-fries, and even blending into cream sauces.

3. Jarred pasta sauce

A good jar (or three) of marinara is always welcome in my pantry for nights we need a quick dinner. While the ALDI jarred sauces are tasty on their own, they can also be bulked up a little by tossing them into a high-speed blender or food processor with other fresh veggies you have on hand, like broccoli, bell peppers, greens, or mushrooms.

4. Hummus

We always find great flavors of hummus at ALDI! Slather it on bagels, tortilla wraps, crackers, or serve alongside veggie sticks.

5. Pasta

You’ll find an array of traditional pasta at ALDI, like whole-wheat penne and spaghetti noodles. But we also like to pick up edamame spaghetti for a fun twist on dinner, as well as their new veggie ravioli.

6. Snacks

ALDI has a great spread of snacks that we use for kids school lunches and at home. Some of our go-to’s are pistachios, pumpkin seeds, black bean chips, applesauce pouches with no added sugar, black bean salad, and sea salt popcorn.

7. Earth Grown products

This is a wonderful vegan and vegetarian product line from ALDI that features so many options. We love their veggie burgers and meatless meatballs.

8. Produce

ALDI has some of the best prices around for fresh fruits and veggies. This is a major plus when our kids eat as many berries as they do! Plus, you’ll find a ton of great frozen produce, like broccoli and riced cauliflower, green beans, mixed fruit, pineapple and mango chunks, peas, corn, and asparagus spears.

As you can see, there are plenty of plant-based products at ALDI, and you can find some great staples at a lower price point.
