Costco has been a life-saver for us as parents.

The ability to buy things in bulk has been so helpful for saving time, effort, and money on meal prep.

As our little snack monsters continue to grow, shopping at Costco helps keep the pantry and freezer stocked with convenient, nutrient-dense options.

And lucky for us, there are so many plant-based options at Costco! Find some of our favorites below.

Plant-Based Shopping List at Costco

Costco is a membership-based, wholesale store. It’s basically a big warehouse full of food — and countless other goodies for your home and lifestyle.

Looking to make a trip to Costco to stock up on plant-based eats? You’re in the right place! Here are some things you can find there.

Note that certain things rotate in and out of Costco and may not always be available, but there’s always plenty to choose from.

Plant-Based Pantry Foods at Costco

There are so many great shelf-stable foods at Costco that will last months. Just make sure you have room to store them! The bags are super-sized and the canned goods come in extra-large packs.

  • Brown and white rice
  • Quinoa
  • Pasta
  • Tomato sauce
  • Curry sauce
  • Canned beans and lentils
  • Canned diced tomatoes and tomato paste
  • Dried beans and lentils

You’ll find big bags of frozen produce and meat alternatives at Costco for much cheaper than at other stores. They take up more though, so plan accordingly. If you have a standalone freezer, even better!

One of the best parts of Costco with kids is the snacks. Having some bulk plant-based snacks on hand can be super helpful for packing lunches and on-the-go meals for the month.
