Cheesy, Dorito-Inspired Kale Chips! Crispy kale chips loaded with nutritional yeast and spices. Ready in just 30 minutes.

kale chips

Easy kale chips!

Our kids might not be into kale salads (yet!) but they like crispy kale chips, especially when they are coated in a cheesy-like dust and baked until crunchy.

We don’t own a dehydrator, which we’d argue is likely the best way to make kale chips. However, you can use your oven to make kale chips!

Simply preheat your oven to the lowest setting, 200 degrees, and bake the kale in a single layer until crispy and your preferred texture.

Make sure to mix the seasonings and oil into the kale chips well and then bake.

  • 1 bunch curly leaf kale
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup nutritional yeast
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • Place the kale in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 25 minutes, turning the baking sheet halfway through cooking. The kale leaves should be crispy!
